    We’re hiring!

Join Aon as a Cyber Consulting graduate and become a vital part of Aon’s Cyber Solutions team where you will be exposed to a range of industries, business, technical environments, and enterprise networks collaborating with our wide range of specialists, leaders and experienced consultants.

Recognising the learning, development, and social value for our Early Career colleagues, all of our graduates will spend most of their time in the office environment from the start of their programme with occasional time working from home or a client site.

Aon is in the business of better decisions

At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.

As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

    Cyber Solutions

It only takes one successful attack to devastate a company’s financial performance, brand — and reputation. And in the current cyber climate, it’s not a case of if an attack will happen, but when.

Resilient companies recognise this new normal and stay one step ahead to protect themselves, their customers, partners and vendors against devastating attacks. That’s where you come in.

Your role on the Cyber Consulting Graduate Programme

Aon’s Cyber Consulting Graduate programme is rotational, and you will be immersed in projects covering all key areas of Cyber Consulting and information security, including:

    • Threat intelligence
    • Incident response (reactively working with an organisation in response to a cyber-attack)
    • Security testing (spotting vulnerabilities and defending organisations against adversaries) and advisory (identifying security risks and working on improving the client’s cyber resilience)
    • Cyber Risk Advisory consulting (collaborating with organisations to understand their current risk posture and building strategies to mitigate and manage)
    • Cyber risk quantification (assessing organizations’ cyber risk financial exposure and modelling probable cyber loss scenarios and cyber risk financing strategies)

You’ll have exposure to several other areas of our business, to give you a well-rounded understanding of Aon. We’ll also give you the chance to work on a range of real-world security and cyber risk situations. One day you might be chasing malicious hackers through a client’s network; the next, analysing messaging apps on an iPhone, or advising clients on how to make better decisions when it comes to their cyber risk posture.

Our clients span all sorts of industries, including financial services, healthcare, retail, hospitality, technology and communications, entertainment and more. As a Cyber Consulting Graduate you will work across a range of client consulting services including the below.

Investigations and Response (Digital Forensics and Incident Response, and Intelligence)

    • Respond to data breaches, APT attacks, cyber extortion, malicious code, botnets, economic espionage, ransomware and other cyber incidents.
    • Hunt for indicators of compromise (IoCs) and other malicious activity and vulnerabilities within an environment, and analyse irregular network traffic.
    • Conduct research on the open, deep and dark web to identify potential evidence of a network intrusion or other security threats.
    • Uncover computer-enabled theft, leaks of confidential business information, mass or targeted deletions.

    Cyber Risk Advisory

    • Assess businesses and environments for cyber risks to help clients understand exposures and risks
    • Assess organisations’ cyber risk exposure and model probable scenarios, using insights from our data analytics to direct and strengthen our client’s case to invest in information security, business continuity, and cyber insurance.
    • Model cyber loss scenarios and stress testing current insurance limits to advise clients on how their existing risk financing strategies can be enhanced to effectively address cyber threats.
    • Conduct cyber due diligence to identify potential threats to the value of a client’s investment, providing the insight needed to make sound decisions.
    • Conduct cyber threat simulations and recommend solutions to secure vulnerabilities
    • Develop security strategies to help organisations protect their business

    Security Testing

    • Perform penetration testing on web and mobile applications, as well as network penetration testing (external and internal) to include vulnerability exploitation and pivoting to gain remote system access
    • Conduct application source code review
