Essential requirements
You should be either a recent graduate or graduating in 2024 with a minimum of Masters (MEng/MSc) in either of the following disciplines:
- Electrical/Electronic and/or Instrumentation engineering
- Structural engineering
We would also welcome applications from engineers at the beginning of their careers, looking for their first career move.
Job purpose
As an Engineer you will be fully immersed in our diverse range of engineering projects across the full spectrum of the energy industry. You will work alongside experienced senior and principal engineers and be assigned a mentor to support your development. Building on the knowledge and skills gained from your degree, your learning will continue via direct on-the-job experience and appropriate formal training courses – both internal and external.
Key responsibilities
You will be involved in:
- Engineering projects in all areas of the energy industry
- Executing engineering projects from initial concept development right through to detailed design and manufacture
- Working as part of our multi-disciplined engineering/project team with engineers, designers and specialists of all experience levels
- Producing engineering calculations and performing analysis in the pursuit of generating new designs or assessing existing equipment/facilities
- Liaising with clients and visiting facilities/locations as necessary
