Key qualifications
- Undergraduate/graduate degree related to computing completing between July 2021 and June 2022 is required.
- Skill in programming using Java or JavaScript is required.
- Industrial experience related to computing is required e.g. summer internship or industrial placement.
Description
The AMP Customer Engagement engineering team is responsible for building the platform and services that enable communicating with millions of users every day, across services such as Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+ and more. In this role you will be mentored in designing, building and maintaining the team’s platform including frontend/backend components, supporting many features across many of our services.
As a member of the team, you will be encouraged to propose, design and implement solutions, while taking ownership of critical components of the stack. You will be writing well-tested clean code using existing design patterns and utilise standard libraries where possible. You will bring improvements to how we do things and drive their acceptance. Skill in programming using Java or Javascript is required
This role will be based in London, where our engineering teams are based and you can benefit from working alongside them day by day. However, given the global pandemic you may be required to work remotely for some of the time and therefore we ask candidates to reside within 2 hours of GMT.
