    Key qualifications

    • Technical competence in at least one of the following areas: Server-side development (Python, Ruby, Java, Golang, C/C+ +, etc), Web development (ECMAScript, HTML, CSS3), Machine Learning (Python, R), Data Processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark), iOS, or macOS development (Objective-C, Swift)
    • Leadership experience
    • Related internship experience
    • Excellent quantitative and interpersonal skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Good project management skills
    • Passion for discovering and researching new and emerging technologies in the space of Information Security
    • Ability to adapt quickly and prioritise as needed

    Description

    The internship provides opportunities across many different teams in the security space, ranging from special projects for new business initiatives to operations in a rapidly growing and dynamic setting. Interns benefit from a combination of training and on-the-job work experience. You will work cross-functionally with Apple’s corporate Information Security team and key Apple internal business teams to ensure the successful completion of critical Information Security initiatives.

    A few of the positions available to you include:

    • A range of software engineering positions such as front- end, back-end, full-stack, iOS, macOS
    • Penetration testing and application security assessment
    • Digital forensics and incident response
    • Project and campaign management

    Successful interns will be eligible to be considered for full-time positions in Apple's Information Security Development Program (AISDP). AISDP is a two year rotational training program that offers a completely customizable series of assignments, with the goal of developing well-rounded security professionals. Upon completion of the program, you will use your training and experience in advanced roles with the organization.
