The Apple Services Academy is a 12 month entry-level program starting in September 2023. It is full-time, competitively salaried, and includes a program to support personal development. There may be other opportunities within Apple at the end of this program, however this cannot be guaranteed.
You will have a range of responsibilities including significant day-to-day tasks alongside longer project work. You will be a vital and impactful member of the team and every day will be different, rewarding and challenging. We are looking for passion and potential rather than prior work experience.
Key qualifications
- An eye for detail and familiarity with fundamental design principles.
- The desire to build new skills and a natural curiosity to learn from others.
- Working knowledge of Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or other design and prototyping tools.
- A willingness to investigate multiple approaches, gracefully accept feedback, and change direction when required.
- A portfolio of recent work that demonstrates your technical skills.
- A passion for Apple, its products, and its customers
Description
Your responsibilities are likely to grow and change during your time with us. The following is a short overview of your possible responsibilities in the International Product Design team:
- Creating flowcharts, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize concepts and ideas for mobile and desktop apps.
- Helping present work to other designers, engineers, and project managers.
- Iterating on proposals based on feedback and technical constraints.
- Responding to last minute design requests whilst managing existing workloads.
- Producing pixel-perfect specs, assets, and documentation for engineering implementation.
- Providing a fresh point of view in critique.

Additional requirements
- An online portfolio that demonstrates aptitude in graphic, industrial, communication, or interaction design.
- Able to complete the full program (12 months), starting Sep 2023.
- Must currently have the right to live and work in the UK.
- There are 12 UK roles in total (across numerous teams) based in our London Battersea Power Station office.
- We are able to support with relocation from within the UK if needed.
- This is an entry level program with a fixed (competitive) salary.
