As a Product Manager at Shazam, you are passionate about music, consumer technologies, and supporting a growing ecosystem of creators. You’ll partner with other product managers— in Shazam and across Apple— as well as design, engineering, analytics, and marketing to develop innovative new products that change the way users discover and experience music. This role is located in our London office.

    Key Qualifications

    • Strong experience in software product development.
    • Proven experience in dealing with big datasets and developing products that harness large datasets. Some familiarity with SQL and being able to independently navigate and evaluate datasets is a plus.
    • Great product instincts. You intuitively understand why product ideas will be effective and gain adoption- fundamentally analytical, sourcing data and identifying key insights to advise product decisions.
    • Deeply detail-focused. You believe that an extraordinary product is the sum of many small, considered decisions.
    • Curious and creative with a strong desire to learn. You’re resourceful and prioritise action to move projects forward.
    • Produce clear and inspiring presentations to communicate ideas and specifications. You understand your audience and adapt as needed, comfortable communicating with all levels of the business.

    Description

    We’re looking for an inspired and curious individual to join the Shazam product team. In this role, you’ll lead exciting new greenfield product development projects within the music domain, and drive new functionality into existing products with hundreds of millions of users. You will be: - Sourcing market data and leveraging your creativity and passion for consumer technologies to find opportunities that support Shazam’s business goals. - Working with a global team to develop a product roadmap and align collaborators across Shazam and other parts of the Apple Services organisation. - Writing clear and concise product requirements that capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features that delight users. Demonstrating a team-first mentality and excelling at encouraging a collaborative, open, and inclusive environment, working with the wider team to get your requirements built and shipped. - Initiating, coordinating, and reviewing launch activities in conjunction with the wider business, including AppleCare, Marketing, and many others.

    Education Experience

    A graduate degree relevant to computer science or equivalent and meaningful experience.
