Your Role
ADM Milling UK is the UK’s second largest flour milling company, operating from a nationwide network of six flour mills. It is part of Archer Daniels Midland, a 120 year old US-based, global food and agriculture business. The business prides itself on its modern culture, ethical values and high levels of customer service.
Our customers include many household names and range from industrial to small family-owned bakeries, global pizza and fast-food chains, and everything in-between. The Technical team is responsible for all aspects of product quality, food safety and new product development and innovation.
You will join the Product Development team at Avonmouth, Bristol on a 12 month fixed term contract and will be exposed to a range of diverse range of activities in the Technical team. Working alongside a group of dedicated food scientists, technologists and technicians, you will manage and lead assigned projects and activities.
You will be exposed to all aspects of work in the team, including Food Safety and HACCP, wheat harvest assessment and customer support activities. You will also interact with colleagues from other ADM divisions in pursuit of technical excellence and business growth.
Your Profile
- Studying a numerate science-based degree such as Food Science, Nutrition, Food Business or equivalent
- Eager to gain experience of a modern, fast-paced agri-food business
- Proactive and keen to learn
