Open to internal and external candidates, the successful applicant will help to create the Company’s production plans, to meet sales commitments across relevant sectors and manufacturing plants. The successful candidate will have the necessary experience to be able to influence and deliver a production schedule that meets both sales and operational demands, achieving efficient manufacturing while meeting customer demand requirements. Based at the Head Office in Knottingley West Yorkshire and within the hybrid working policy.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a production schedule from the rolling 18-month sales demand for the appropriate product sectors at the Knottingley factory to allow both Sales and Operations to achieve KPI’s.
- Meet with sales and operations on both a formal and informal basis to review and update the schedule to allow sales to maximise the revenue and EBITDA position of the UK region.
- Liaise with the relevant sales sector to ensure any available machine capacity is used to the best advantage of the UK sales demand while maintaining operational efficiency.
Required skills / qualifications
- Business Degree or equivalent qualification (graduate level) is desirable, though not essential.
- Minimum GCSE A to C or equivalent in English and Maths is essential.
- IT skills and SAP knowledge would be desirable, though not essential.
- Experience of glass FMCG manufacturing process would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving techniques.
