What will you be doing?
Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking for pro-active and commercial Business Development Executives to join our highly successful team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to utilise their sales skills to the full. We are looking for motivated self-starters who are keen to work in an environment where there is a strong work/life balance and no micromanagement.
You will be responsible for selling Argus market data, price assessments and reports over the phone, working from a blend of marketing leads and prospect data. You will be given full training and ongoing support to ensure you’re able to ask the right questions, position the right solution and win the sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive subscription sales of assigned products across your territory through effective discovery and clear articulation of the value proposition
- Manage your pipeline and deliver against KPIs including call activity, opportunity creation, average order values, and conversion rates
- Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets through calling out to decision-makers provided to you via Argus systems, including leads generated from marketing campaigns
- Capture and feedback on reasons for wins and losses to the product and sales management team to support ongoing product development
- Manage all aspects of the administration of your sales activity through excellent understanding and use of Argus’ CRM system and related technology
What we’re looking for in you
- Successful track record of at least 12 months in B2B sales, including generating new business
- Able to execute an effective call structure as part of a robust sales process
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Able to use initiative as well as work as part of a team
- Self-motivated, confident and results driven individual
- Experience in data/IP sales preferable
- Educated to Degree level or above
