This role is for a UX Intern in the Digital team within Marketing.We currently have 3 x 12- month Intern roles within Marketing to choose from. The other roles are Digital Marketing Intern and Creative Designer Intern and all 3 roles are based in CAMBRIDGE! Join our dynamic, global Digital team and become an integral part of our mission to support the Chief Marketing Officer in driving our digital strategy. As a UX intern you’ll contribute to solving complex problems using user-centered and design thinking approaches for customer facing products and services.
Responsibilities
As an integral member of the team, you'll immerse yourself in a diverse range of projects and tasks, The Team responsibilities including but not limited to
- Craft websites, web apps, and digital campaigns that engage users and solve their pains.
- Participate in research projects that gain C-Level attention and drive strategic programs.
- Assist in user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that support user needs.
- Evaluate emerging AI opportunities to enhance our research and design capability.
- Map customer journeys, Participate in design sprints and craft service design blueprints.
- Analyse quantitative data to uncover opportunities.
- Participate in design sprints and sketching sessions to iterate on innovative ideas.
- Support the evolution of our research operations capability.
- Leverage and improve our design system to build consistent, high-quality prototypes.
- Provide valuable UX insights to drive successful campaigns and product launches.
- Explore opportunities to collaborate with other Marketing teams and expand your horizons within our organization based on your skills and interests.

Required skills and experience
- Pursuing a degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- Able to share a portfolio, or some examples of work, showcasing past research and UX design projects.
“Nice to have” skills and experience
- Basic knowledge of research methods and design tools such as Figma and XD.
