    Our Arrow’s EMEA Graduate Program is a 12-month journey designed specifically for graduates who completed their education not more than 2 years ago and are seeking to take part in a practical learning curriculum. We provide a platform to work with experienced mentors to accelerate and establish a solid foundation to build and grow your career at Arrow. During the program, selected candidates will improve both professional and soft skills and will be able to meet with and learn from experts across the business. By the end of the program, you will have the ground to further develop a successful career in Arrow.

    What you should expect from the role

    Arrow believes that the best way for you to learn is by integrating you fully into the business and giving you full responsibility for your tasks. Two key areas in Product Management are Asset and Quoting. As part of your personal and group projects, you'll have the opportunity to engage in practical work and will work alongside highly specialized experts. You will start in the Asset area followed by Quoting.

    In Asset you will work on the following

    • Work with the AGM/PGM to improve the quality of inventory, increasing turn, turn/earn, reducing SMI (Slow Moving Inventory) and delivering on time to customers requirements.
    • Inventory management, profiling, scheduling and backlog management of Purchase Orders (PO’s) to meet Customer Request Dates (CRD).
    • Prepare and execute product strategies with key interfaces
    • Develop excellent relationships with suppliers, sales and end customers
    • Develop Oracle CPI and BPO requirements to improve service levels
    • Influence suppliers to pro-actively discriminate in favour of Arrow and our customers
    • Act as escalation route for service recovery issues
    • Resolution of IPVs (Invoice Price Variance) and NCRs (Non Conforming Receipts) interfacing with the PDCs (Primary Distribution Center) and account payables (Finance Department)
    • Volume aggregation to improve our margin
    • Slow Moving inventory Management, review and reduction
    • Negotiation of stock packages with the PSM
    • Supplier owner and contact person for Sales and Supplier Marketing
    • Single Point Of Contact for the Sales Team for all cases related to the stock, backlog management and lead times of supplier/technology
    • Lead time Management and implementation in Oracle and Planet Arrow with Data Management department (MDM)
    • Process scrap and supplier returns together with MDM and Finance
    • Supplier champion for all Asset needs
    • Support intercompany inventory transfer
    • Asset attribute management (File)
    • Manage UDPs together with PSM, AGM, PGM and MDM
    • Work on the daily action list in Demantra and ASCP

    In Quoting you will work on the following

    • Price negotiations for designated suppliers and products
    • Manage supplier price changes
    • Provide resale guidance to sales
    • Provide quote information’s to sales to win business and improve productivity
    • Work on daily Quote requests and notifications
    • Support Sales on big contract negotiations
    • Support Continuous Process Improvement internally and with suppliers
    • Quote maintenance
    • Quote follow up activities via our Sales organization
    • Margin enhancement activities:
    • Provide Lead time on exceptional basis
    • Part administration and maintenance with our MDM Team
    • Control and handle S&D process incl. rejects with supplier and Finance Team•
    • First level of technical support for all products
    • Supplier marketing activities for smaller and medium suppliers
    • Prepare and execute product strategies with key interfaces (Weekly branch update…)
    • Force excellent relationships with suppliers, sales and end customers
    • Negotiate Frame agreements & Package deals together with the PAM
    • Support his/her manager in QBR preparation (generation of reports etc)
    • Collect and share tools and best practices
    • Close collaboration with Marketing & Asset Team

    Requirements

    • You must have a legal right to work in the country where the position is located.
    • You should have successfully completed your bachelor or master degree in a business administration / marketing related or other relevant degree before October 2023 or maximum 2 years ago
    • Business fluent English AND local language (oral & written) where the job is based is a must for this position.
    • Sound knowledge of the business administration practices and how to apply them to daily business and strategy.
    • Good understanding of commercial business strategies
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be able to interact proactively with the team, suppliers, our sales organization and other relevant teams.
    • Highly organised and desire to support our sales team to grow the business and improve our profitability. Be responsible for results.
    • Keen to support and drive process improvements.
    • Excellent service mindset
    • Be a team player.
    • You must be flexible and have geographical mobility.
    • Creative, outside-the-box thinker who brings something new to the table and is not afraid to share those ideas.
