Launch your career with Arup.
Dedicated to sustainable development, Arup is a collective of designers, consultants and experts working globally. Founded to be humane and excellent, we collaborate with our clients and partners using imagination, technology, and rigour to shape a better world.
Introduction to Energy, Water and Resources
The energy sector is in transition towards a net zero future. We're committed to working with clients, the wider industry and government partners to get there as fast as possible by exploring low carbon and net zero solutions that are sustainable and long term. Whether it's investment or transaction advice, energy system integration, or the detailed design of energy infrastructure, or supporting the planning of new offshore wind developments we help clients to chart a sustainable path forward.
Arup helps the world manage its water – from the supply of clean drinking water to understanding flood risks, from drainage to sanitation. We've evolved our own ‘Design with water' methodology, drawn on our experiences designing, implementing, and maintaining water infrastructure around the world. ‘Design with water' places an understanding of the local water cycle at the centre of responses to wider local issues like economic development, food and agriculture, community, and energy use.
We use consultancy, engineering, and research to bring the most insightful approaches to energy, water and resource projects wherever they are in the world.
