Arup is an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, architects, consultants and technical specialists, working across every aspect of today's built environment. Together, we help our clients solve their most complex challenges – turning exciting ideas into tangible reality as we strive to find a better way and shape a better world.
Our Business and Corporate Services functions provide a fundamental platform of unyielding support, enabling our firm to operate efficiently whilst working with our clients on ambitious projects that will set new industry standards.
Overview of the role
The Clients and Business Development team at Arup works across our Client Engagement programme, business development and strategy, bidding and competitive tenders. These functions exist to strengthen our relationships with our clients and secure the kind of work that best aligns with our strategic and vision for what we want to achieve as a business.
Our Clients and Business Development team works closely with other members of our Client, Markets and Communications (CMC) team in the Region, with a wealth of other leaders and stakeholders in the business and with our global marketing and communications colleagues. This entry-level role spans all elements of the Clients and Business Development function and would suit an enthusiastic and energetic graduate with an interest in sustainability who is looking to build a career in business development.
The role is varied and may include working on projects to strengthen the foundations of our work winning functions (strengthening client feedback processes, developing client engagement tools, processes, and reporting, supporting better use of our bid policy, etc.) or could focus on more targeted work winning activities like bid coordination and bid writing, client relationship management, etc.
