    Overview of role

    We are on the hunt for a Graduate Climate Change Consultant to join our rapidly expanding environment team in the Midlands. Our work is focused on helping our infrastructure clients navigate the climate transition through development of high-quality modelling, strategies, and action plans. Out client base includes major public and private sector organisations who rely on our expertise across all aspects of climate change management, both in the UK and internationally.

    You will help us deliver a suite of integrated climate services (mitigation & resilience) across a diversity of clients. The role will involve a blend of research, modelling, strategy development, and client engagement. You will assist in the production of future scenario modelling for emissions and resilience, analysing outputs and engaging with other subject matter experts to prepare clear, concise, and actionable outputs.

    Our environment team comprises 50 technical specialists, focused on a broad range of topics. Your responsibilities from day one will improve your skills as a climate change specialist, and give exposure to commercial, design and project management processes, shaping your development into a well-rounded climate change consultant.

    What we are looking for

    •  Bachelor's degree of higher degree in Carbon Management, Geography, Civil & Environmental Engineering (prediction of 2:1 or higher) or equivalent  
    • Student of graduate member of IEMA or similar professional body is desirable  
    • Relevant work experience  
    • A solid understanding of Sustainability, carbon and climate change 
    • Enthusiasm for a career in Climate Change Consulting, underpinned through a knowledge and deep interest in the built and natural environment 
    • Possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
