We are a team of well-connected geospatial professionals in the United Kingdom with a strong network of practitioners worldwide. We work across the business delivering projects in a range of areas including Transport, Energy/Water/Resources, City/Planning/Design as well as the development of new Digital Services. Day to day, the team contributes to the success of the business through delivery of key geospatial services. These include data advisory, data analysis, visualisations, mobile data collection and the development of Enterprise GIS solutions.

You will be joining a technical delivery team with a varied and challenging workload. You may be working on wide variety of projects of global and national importance, such as HS2, Crossrail and other major infrastructure, strategic and master planning, research, environmental reviews.
Day to day tasks will include GIS development for data management, data manipulation and visualisation, and automation. You will have the opportunity to use 2D and 3D data developing your core GIS and Enterprise skills throughout your career journey.

About You

If you can combine these skills with an understanding of (or willingness to learn about) the Geospatial sector and a desire to deliver excellent services for clients, we'd like to hear from you.
Essential
- Bachelors in GIS or Remote Sensing or a master's degree in a relevant subject such as Geography, GIS, Earth Observation, Remote Sensing.
- Good technical expertise and a sound understanding of data management, spatial analysis, scripting, web development and visualisation.
- Proven academic experience of utilising and deploying data solutions
- Experience in automating geoprocessing tasks using for example, Python, Feature Manipulation Engine or ArcGIS ModelBuilder
- Awareness of one or more back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python, PHP) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
- Awareness of one or more Mapping libraries (e.g. leaflet, mapbox, geodjango frameworks, ArcGIS API's)
- Ability to manage own work, good communication skills, effectively translate technical language to the language of business, strong problem-solving skills, interest in working with clients
Desirable
- Understanding and aptitude for one or more of the following: SQL, HTML, ArcGIS Enterprise and/or ArcGIS Online.
- Experience in integrating systems and building software customisations to make spatial and non-spatial data analysis more easily accessible
- Experience in the visualisation and analysis of complex and large data sets
- 1 year experience in the consulting sector or similar working in a Geospatial role (for example an industrial placement)
- Aptitude for mentoring/training others
