Reporting to the HR Systems Project Manager, the purpose of this role is to analyse and interpret HR data ensuring data accuracy in preparation for the migration of data from the current HR system to the new HR system. The HR Data Analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders within the business and the external system implementation team during the implementation phase.
Responsibilities include
- Review, analyse the current HR data from the current HR system; OpenPeople to ensure data accuracy and integrity by running reports and performing data audits.
- Cleanse the current data and collaborate with the HR team to resolve any data discrepancies.
- Work closely with the HR Systems Project Manager and the external system provider on the data integration plan, workshops and migration process.
- Work with the vendor to complete the User Acceptance Testing files in preparation for uploading and importing to the new platform.
- Validate the data in collaboration with the vendor and participate in parallel runs.
- Work closely with the HR Shared Service team to recommend improvements and enhancements based on data analysis.
- Provide training and support to end users on data related tools and processes.
Skills, knowledge and behaviours
- Demonstrable depth and knowledge of HR systems.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and present clearly articulated, well-structured reports using qualitative and quantitative data.
- Attention to detail, excellent administration and organisational skills
Minimum qualifications
- Degree or College qualification in HR or a business-related subject
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent
