    The role

    We have a large dataset of liability business that has an industry associated with each policy. We need someone with a strong analytical skillset to dive into the data, look for trends and provide a report to the EM team/underwriters on potential accumulation and risk within the portfolio. They will need to assess for potential emerging risks that could be associated with the industries we insure.

    Principal responsibilities

    • Owning the dataset and creating a methodology for identifying the business industry’s
    • Maintaining a clear data structure for a member of the team to continue
    • Communicating back to core team members on evidence and findings

    Requirements

    • Demonstrable record of high achievement, analytical thinking, self-motivation, and relationship-building
    • Highly collaborative
    • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Some programming skills (Python / R)
    • Science or computing background
