We have an exciting new role for a Conveyancing Assistant looking to develop their career in a varied and busy Residential Property Department at our Exeter office on a full time and permanent basis.

Joining one of the leading law firms in the South West, you'll be part of a friendly and supportive Residential Property team, providing essential support to our fee earners and dealing with daily administration tasks within the department. You will be managing files in conjunction with our fee earners, including regular contact with Estate Agents, Solicitors, Brokers, and Clients, dealing with correspondence, enquiries, exchanging contracts and completing transactions.

Whilst the role will mainly be based at our Exeter office, it will be possible to offer a blend of home and office based working in the future.

Who you are

To succeed in the role you will have great organisation and communication skills, along with a flexible approach in order to balance day to day priorities,.

With some prior experience of working in a busy office environment, you will be able to work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining accuracy in your work. With extensive client contact in this role, it's important that you naturally understand and relate to clients' needs whilst delivering an outstanding service.

You might have gained some previous conveyancing experience or perhaps have previously worked in a professional services environment, however the most important thing is that you are keen to learn new skills and develop your technical knowledge.
