Graduate Implementation Consultant London/Remote

Fluent Technology is currently looking to recruit a Graduate Implementation Consultant as part of our Professional Services team, to primarily contribute to the successful implementation of our cloud-based grants management software, Flexi-Grant® for our clients.

The primary responsibility of an implementation consultant is to implement our market-leading grant management software, Flexi-Grant, for grant giving organisations wishing to use it to manage their grant funding portfolio.

This includes completing discovery of an organisations business requirements, configuration of a solution to support their processes, managing user acceptance testing and the delivery of training for client staff.

Fluent Technology Ltd was established in 2001 and is a leading provider of grant management software solutions built on our Flexi-Grant® product. We have more than 80 Flexi-Grant® clients including Cancer Research UK, The British Heart Foundation, Royal Society, the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Academy of Medical Sciences and the British Academy.

At the end of 2021, Fluent Technology was acquired by Valsoft, and is currently part of Aspire Software. Our new home provides Fluent Technology with a unique opportunity to grow the company and serve a truly global client base within the grants management sector.

What your day will look like

• Work with clients to evaluate and analyse their grants management business requirements, documenting functional and non-functional requirements
• Lead and manage the implementation of Flexi-Grant® as the primary business solution.
• Analyse and map core business processes and supporting systems, identifying pain points and areas for improvement
• Manage multiple complex projects, change management projects that transform the business needs of clients
• Organise and facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders, to gather and present business solutions
• Through interactions with clients, identify areas for product development and improvement in response to changes in the grant-funding landscape, to ensure Flexi-Grant® remains cutting edge and a viable commercial business solution within the sector
• Prepare and deliver training sessions for clients, preparing relevant guidelines where appropriate
• Contribute to wider business initiatives within Fluent, such as supporting business development (e.g. tenders and bids) and represent Fluent Technology at client meetings
• Support the Operations Director on other duties as required

About You

• Educated to at least a bachelor's degree in a technical or science-based discipline essential
• Ability to independently manage complex tasks to completion

• Good understanding of databases and cloud-based technologies
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Has a good understanding of organisational structures, their mission, objectives and strategies
