As our next ePowertrain High Voltage and Test Validation Industrial Placement, you are known for your logical thinking, tenacity, perseverance, and strong communication skills. Your remit will be to contribute to the understanding of how the HV powertrain comes together.
During your placement year, you’ll gain a clear understanding and the know-how of the issues the test team finds as you’ll be involved in the technical discussion process to figure out how to reach a resolution and bring that fix to life, you’ll then document and optimise this within the processing.
This role isn't about avoiding challenges; instead, it requires someone willing to face them head-on showcasing your problem-solving skills and logical approach to resolving issues. Even in situations where details are not readily available, you will persevere until a suitable resolution is found. This is a role where you can truly make a difference, and it is important to you to be able to contribute and be a part of something meaningful.
Key Requirements
- University students pursuing an engineering degree either in Mechanical or Electrical, ideally electrical bias, and graduating in 2025.
- Evidence of passion and achievements in academic/or non-academic activities
- Aspiration/commitment to pursue a career in engineering.
- Data analysis

- Fulltime Gaydon-based with occasional travel to our supplier sites across the UK and Europe

- Mon – Thurs 8am – 5pm and Fri 8am – 1pm
