    Our SW&ET function is looking for 2 Software & Electronic Technologies Industrial Placement students who want to be part of our Placement scheme where you’ll gain full exposure and learn how our SW & ET department operates.

    You're not the type to shy away from challenges or be interested in a role that doesn't push you to grow as you thrive being pushed outside your comfort zone. In this role, you’ll have the chance to work on exciting projects, make a meaningful impact, and be recognised for your contributions.

    In this role, you’ll learn key main components of the department and key processes for the SW&ET team. Within your placement, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver individual projects whilst developing clear understanding of how each department interlinks into building our ultra-luxury performance cars.

    Key Requirements

    • University students pursuing Electrical/Electronic/Software/Telecoms/Robotics or Computer Science degrees, graduating in 2025.
    • Evidence of passion and achievements in academic/or non-academic activities
    • Aspiration/commitment to pursue a career in Software/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
    • Strong willingness to learn along with an analytical mindset.
    • Passion for problem solving and the curiosity to understand business challenges and deliver innovative solutions.

    What to Expect

    Each intern will

    • Learn and develop key processes within the department.
    • Develop knowledge on coding - MATLAB/Python/C/C**
    • Work on their own crucial projects and as part of an overall project team
    • Have an opportunity to put their technical skills to work on intellectually challenging problems.
    • Working across a cross functional environment
    • Improve your team working skills through practical experience.
    • Gain Invaluable experience in through the areas in Research and Development, Digital Experience & Connected Car, Motion Control, ADAS & Autonomous Driving and Electrical Architecture design.

    The Industrial placement starts on Monday 2nd September 2024.

    What you’ll gain

    • You’ll be given specific projects and responsibilities working on real and live business challenges.
    • Continuous coaching and mentoring – You will work with passionate people and receive day to day mentoring from your manager.
    • £20,520, pension scheme, 26 days annual leave + bank holidays
    • Mon – Thurs 8.00am –5.00pm and Fri 8.00am – 1.00pm
    • Gaydon, Warwickshire based with occasional travel involved.

    The Next Step and time frames

    • Online psychometric gamification assessment
    • Phone interview – with a member of the Talent Acquisition team (20 minutes)
    • Face to Face Interview - a chance to meet the team you’ve applied to join (1 hour)
    • Outcome – we will let you know the outcome of your interview.
