    This is an exciting time to join the Student Welfare department. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Disability Advisor, who will place student experience at the forefront of all that they do and can work proactively in a demanding and fast-paced environment. Acting as a point of contact for all prospective and current disabled students with ongoing support needs, the postholder will identify and monitor needs within the boundaries of confidentiality as well as considering relevant external factors such as academic regulations and standards, legislation, and the social model of disability.

    The postholder will be a key point of contact for the students within their designated College throughout their student journey – from the point of application and entry to graduation – providing a supportive and nurturing student experience throughout.

    The successful candidate will have achieved an undergraduate degree or equivalent and will have experience of supporting young adults/students with disabilities, mental health conditions and additional needs.

    The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
