    What can we offer you?

    A 6 week summer internship position within our Sustainability Corporate Affairs and Global Partnerships teams, within the Global Corporate Affairs function. This position would be based in Cambridge, UK, with an opportunity for hybrid working (min. 3 days in the office, up to 2 days working from home).

    During the internship, you will have the opportunity to work with a cross-functional team on topics related to policy, communications and strategic planning. You will also gain a useful insight into the strategic role played by corporate affairs within the organisation.

    Tasks and responsibilities may include

    • Project management support for AstraZeneca’s engagements at public policy platforms and global fora, e.g. World Economic Forum, G20
    • Desk research on topics including sustainability and healthcare policy
    • Creation of presentations for key internal stakeholders
    • Briefing notes on upcoming internal and external engagements

    Essential candidate requirements

    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Good team working skills
    • Interest in policy, communications, stakeholder relations and/or strategy
    • High organisation skills and confidence to work independently
    • Ability to apply a rational approach to problem solving; making judgements based on sound reasoning, approaching problems in a logical manner
