Your role
As a Human Factors placement student, you’ll help to support the delivery of a variety of engineering and multidisciplinary designs across a range of challenging and exciting industries, including Nuclear & Power and Aerospace, Defence, Security & Technology
You’ll help us to deliver outstanding projects that respond to the needs and resources of a contemporary world and the users within it. We’re looking for new team members who are keen to take their passion and qualifications in Human Factors and Ergonomics to the next level, where our training and exposure to ground-breaking projects will help you develop highly sought-after industry skills.
Where you could work
Aerospace, Defence, Security & Technology (ADS&T)
With our Resilience Engineering Human Factors consulting team you’ll be exposed to ground-breaking projects across multiple sectors. You could be working on cutting edge programmes including: the latest generation maritime, land and air systems, applying civil best practice to military environments and delivering Human Factors support to cyber-security.
As a member of the team, you’ll be given the opportunity to experience a wide range of projects requiring different behavioural science methods, skills and techniques such as procedural analysis, human performance assessments, HCI design, cyber-security and Cyber Vulnerability Investigations.
Nuclear & Power
Join the team that delivers outstanding projects which respond to the needs and resources of a contemporary world and the users within it. Our Nuclear & Power Human Factors team works across several high-hazard industries, including Nuclear, Transportation, Defence and Infrastructure. As a Human Factors placement student, you’ll deploy a range of Human Factors methodologies to support major multidisciplinary projects, from Hinkley Point C to High Speed Rail 2.
