The Team

The Marketing & Communications team forms part of the wider commercial function. We are currently going through an exciting period of change and working towards a new strategy with a shift towards using digital media and channel marketing to truly connect with our customers and more importantly intermediaries. The team is based at HQ in Cardiff Bay and works with a network of offices throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

How you’ll make a difference

We are looking for a self-starter to develop, implement, track and optimise digital marketing campaigns while improving our online brand presence. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining our website and landing pages across the UK and Ireland in order to drive website traffic and enhance brand awareness. As part of the team, you will be responsible for managing and fully utilising our CRM to demand lead generation and retention through creative campaign management and customer communication.

You will a take the lead in developing a seamless digital customer journey across multiple channels and touchpoints. Ensuring our communications land in the right place at the right time.

  • Lead on the development, design and management of .co.uk/.ie websites and associated micro sites
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create landing pages while considering SEO optimisation
  • Working closely with the team to plan, design and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns (including email, paid social/search and digital display) across multiple channels
  • Lead generation for our Ireland team, including strategic campaign management with effective demonstration on ROI against our KPI measurement that aligns with commercial objectives
  • Translate data, trends and behaviour into actionable insights and optimise marketing tactics accordingly
  • Lead (with operational support) on the implementation and maintenance of digital marketing systems, (including automation and CRM), evaluating and adapting as appropriate
  • Own performance marketing goals, objectives, metrics and measurement with monthly analytical reporting
  • Mentor and educate the wider commercial team to obtain future buy-in

What you need to succeed

Essential

  • Commercially minded with experience in managing marketing campaigns across a range of channels
  • Fully competent on using CRM systems such as HubSpot and Salesforce from a marketing and sales hub perspective with list segmentation and lead scoring
  • Knowledge and understanding of web development, email marketing and landing page creation
  • Experience of working with third-party agencies on the development of digital communications, web pages and campaign creative
  • Strong analytical skills to measure performance of activity and deliver actionable insights to optimise marketing activity
  • Creative and innovative thinker, with the ability to maximise the use of different marketing channels and has a sound understanding of user behaviour
  • Awareness of the digital touchpoints to utilise the customer journey and plan marketing activities accordingly
  • Excellent communicator, with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • Excellent organisational, project management and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

  • Experience in building, or contributing to, paid media marketing plans and managing spend
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator)
