As a Software Engineer Intern, you will become part of one of our Deployment and Compute group and contribute directly to the development of our cloud platform. You will get support, mentorship and guidance and autonomy and responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test features delivered through services.
- Work with operations teams to ensure your applications are available and reliable.
- Hands-on software development that will perform at a scale.
- Write code that is tested, readable, and maintainable
- Perform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback for tool improvements
Minimum qualifications
- You are working towards an academic degree in a STEM subject
- Hands-on software development experience in Python.
- Experience implementing unit and integration tests
- Understand and curiosity about DevOps best practices, architectures, and methods
- Experience with networking and security concepts
The ideal candidate
- Production experience in large-scale cloud-based Infrastructure (like AWS)
- Experience with cloud-native applications
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/ECS environments
