    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance department in Southampton.

    This is an administrative role which requires an individual to process transactions with an organised approach in a fast-paced high-volume environment.

    The ideal candidate will be a confident and hardworking individual with proven query solving success.

    Responsibilities

    • Raising Monthly Billing and Credit Notes, in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Raising Engagement letters in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Undertaking investigations on behalf of clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Resolving UK and international billing queries.
    • Supplier reconciliations and payment run preparation.
    • Provide information to management and other departments.
    • Assist in the month end reconciliations under the supervision and support of line management.

    Skills, knowledge, and experience

    • AAT Student desirable but not essential.
    • Experience in working in a high-volume admin environment essential.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good attention to detail.
    • Organised and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Experience with Sage 200 desirable.
    • Experience with MS office, particularly Excel and Word essential.

    The successful candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
