    The role

    We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. Your fingers will be on the financial pulse of the entire organisation, working within the Sales Ledger team, and identifying process improvements for the sales ledger function. As well as collaborating with a number of other teams within AXA, it will be your responsibility to understand, analyse and resolve all matters connected with accounts receivable through; client management, internal stakeholder reporting, and communicating sales performances.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Supporting O2Cify project
    • Monthly claims rebilling and premium invoicing.
    • Monthly reinsurance accounting.
    • B2C accounting and reconciliation with the Platform Network / Bank Statements and Payment Support providers.
    • Accounting for recoveries income and payments.
    • Allocating cash received to invoices
    • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation for all premium related accounts.
    • Assistance with the internal/external audit.
    • Preparation of management information (MI) required by customers.
    • Investigate and resolve internal and external queries.
    • Establish good relationship with the Partners/customers and actively manage the Debt collection/ accounts receivable / Inter-Company Debtors, to ensure the various entities cash positions are optimised.
    • Suggest and test the accounting system improvements.

    • Good organisational and time management skills
    • Proven analytical skills
    • Able to work as part of a team, but also capable of working unsupervised and taking responsibility for own work
    • Keen to learn new skills, willing to be flexible and adapt as processes and the Company change
    • Methodical approach, comfortable getting on with the task in hand and to prioritise accordingly
    • Willingness to take initiative to solve problems and assist colleagues as required
    • Working knowledge of Word and Excel
    • Ability to think outside the box
    • Sage, Peoplesoft and Sales Ledger Module experience beneficial
    • Proven statistical skills advantageous
