An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Babraham Institute’s Finance Team in the position of full-time Accounts Payable Assistant.
The role
Reporting to the Management Accountant, this position will be responsible for undertaking various Accounts Payable duties including processing supplier invoices, applying payments against invoices on the accounting system, processing expense claims and credit cards and assisting with managing the purchase ledger inbox.
About you
Holding 3 A Levels or AAT Level 2 is desirable, but not essential. Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is desirable. The jobholder will be trained in all aspects of the job upon commencing employment.
The successful candidate must have intermediate IT skills, including Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel. It is vital that the jobholder can work independently and as part of a team, and has good attention to detail.
This role will consist of hybrid working and flexible working hours, and the successful candidate will be expected to work in the office for at least 2 days per week.
