    As a Chemical Engineering  Graduate  with the Land division you will be responsible for the design, manufacture and support of a wide range of munitions products. You will help formulate new materials, design features and functions and to ensure that we have manufacturing processes able to meet design tolerances and volume requirements on complex products. You will be involved in a number of chemical processes and tests in  across our manufacturing sites. The technology portfolio is diverse, ranging from chemicals and materials to autonomous vehicles, software and systems.

    What you will be doing…

    • Working collaboratively  with your team you will involved in the development, design and manufacture of propelling charges for new munitions products and maintaining performance of legacy products
    • Conducting manufacture, assembly and inspection of a variety of explosively filled stores with pyrotechnic and secondary explosive material
    • Support the conducting and analysing performance tests for energetic materials and chemical properties
    • Characterisation of materials for key physical and chemical properties report writing

    As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or predicted to obtain, a 2:2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
