Our Summer Internships offer you the chance to hone your skills and gain valuable industry experience. You have the chance to see theory put into action, and learn from colleagues who are experts in their field.

The Role

A Summer Internship at BAE Systems gives you a valuable 12 week insight into working life at one of the world’s most innovative companies. If you secure one of the 100+ placements available across our UK business, you’ll receive on-the-job training within a structured framework. We only offer placements when there’s work with real impact to be completed. It’s a great way to put theory into practice.

Requirements 

To join our Business or Engineering Summer Internship schemes you must be on course for at least a 2:2 Bachelor's degree in a related subject. Once you begin your search you will find specific details on preferred degrees within each role type.

For summer internship roles in Cyber Security you must be on course for at least a 2:2 Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths subject and also have 128 UCAS points or equivalent, excluding General Studies. For Finance placements, you must be on course for at least a 2:1 Bachelor's degree in a related subject as well as 120 UCAS points or equivalent (excluding AS Levels and General Studies). You will also need to be available for the full 12 weeks.
