    About the role

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Cyber Security Consultant to join our rapidly growing Cyber Security & Information Assurance team based in Cheltenham. You will assist with work across a range of client facing projects, large and small, and will contribute to winning new business and managing delivery. Your key responsibilities will be based around supporting our different existing and new Cyber Security & Information Assurance capabilities as required. This could require traveling to and working in different parts of the UK for periods of time.     As a secondary responsibility, you will be required to support the technical cyber security activities needed for CDS DS internal information systems used to handle, process and store classified information. This will involve working with our existing internal IT and Cyber Security resources to add value to your development and the CS&IA Services provided to customers.

    Ideal candidate

    • Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline e.g. Cyber Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics
    • You will possess a keen interest in Cyber Security & Information Assurance
    • Highly proficient in MS Office packages
    • Able to provide high-quality work under pressure
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Understanding of the principles of cyber defence, cyber offence, threat detection and monitoring technologies and service
    • A proactive interest in maintaining and enhancing technical and consultancy skills
    • Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates will need to be able to undergo UK government vetting and maintain the required clearances
