A Baker Tilly Digital Consultant is a direct placement in one of the following focus areas, determined based on a combination of skillset, experience, and interest.
Enterprise Solutions
A Consultant on this team collaborates with experienced Baker Tilly team members to assess business operations and identify, design, and implement the appropriate technology to enhance operational efficiency. Services provided include application optimisation / modernisation, enterprise systems implementation, and human capital, financial, and supply chain strategy and transformation. Consultants will gain experience implementing cloud software solutions, which may include Oracle Cloud (HCM, ERP, EPM, SCM), Plex, IFS, and Sage Intacct.
Project Management
A Consultant on this team organises resources, monitors and controls work and proactively identifies issues, challenges and next steps to drive the project forward. If you’ve lead project teams before and enjoyed successfully delivering them whilst bringing the team with you along the way, Project Management might be a good direction to consider.
Transformation Services
A Consultant on this team collaborates with experienced Baker Tilly team members to understand our clients’ business processes, identify opportunities for transformation and define the overarching strategy, implement transformative solutions, and enable a smooth transition for stakeholders. Services provided include adoption and organisational readiness, business strategy assessments and roadmap development, business application technology evaluation, and project management.
Qualifications
General Qualifications (for all focus areas listed above):
- Ability to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship (graduate, student or partner visas are not accepted)
- Ability to travel to the US for limited periods of time.
- Possesses an undergraduate or graduate degree (or is due to graduate by no later than summer 2024) in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounting, Operations Management, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Analytics, Information/Data Management, Management Information Systems/Technology, or a related field.
- Availability to begin full-time employment in the summer of 2024.
- Outstanding academic performance with an expected grade of 2:1 or above.
- Relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organisation.
- Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, display passion and commitment towards finding creative and efficient solutions to analytical problems, achieving results and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of duties.
- Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Be available to travel as needed for client projects.
