The role
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented candidate to support our team with both legal work and administrative tasks. You will assist with progressing personal injury claims and contribute to the department’s wider success through legal research, client interaction, and case management.
On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be involved in:

- Identifying appropriate funding and applying for Legal Expenses Insurance.
- Maintaining accurate file notes and records of client communications.
- Preparing and submitting claims using the MoJ portal.
- Obtaining medical records and other records using search engines like AskMID and MedCo.
- Preparing trial bundles and supporting documents.
- Dealing with court proceedings and applications (including attendance at court).
- Legal research.
- Drafting schedules of loss.
- Monitoring, valuing and settling claims.
- Accurate time recording and meeting monthly time targets.
- Complying with the firm’s policies and procedures, including accounts procedures, anti-money laundering and compliance.
- Supporting the Marketing and Business Development team with case studies and blogs, and legal directory submissions.
- Drafting applications to Headway, SIA, and other organisations.
