    Bridge the gap between university and working life with a structured programme of training, live projects and networking events. You’ll learn how Compliance manages principle risks and protects the bank’s reputation. And how you could help us raise the bar not just at Barclays, but across the industry aiming to promote the best outcomes for both clients and customers. Broad exposure to our Compliance teams will build your understanding of how we operate and where you’d most like to work.

    What to expect

    Expect plenty of opportunities to make an impact. It all starts with intensive training that equips you with the skills and knowledge to handle the kind of responsibilities you’d have as a full-time Compliance Graduate Analyst. Collaborating with both our graduates and senior managers, you’ll discover how we work with external regulators globally to make sure we have the right decision-making boundaries and processes in place to meet their expectations. You’ll take on your own projects and enjoy the chance to make a real difference within your team.

    How you'll develop

    Broad exposure to our Compliance teams will build your understanding of how we operate and where you’d most like to work. From day one, you’ll start gaining the know-how you need to get your internship off to a flying start, and you’ll always be able to count on support from senior in-house experts. Their advice and encouragement will strengthen your confidence and help you sharpen your skills. Performance coaching, social events and the chance to take part in projects outside of compliance will also help you expand your network and develop. The Summer Internship can be a stepping stone to a place as a full-time Compliance Graduate Analyst.
