Our industry-leading group provides model development, analytics and valuable quantitative advice to businesses across the bank. Applying to our programme, means the opportunity to join one of our specialist teams.
Trading Models
Our quants are highly specialised modellers and developers responsible for researching, innovating, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting all quantitative models used for valuation and risk management across all asset classes, valuation adjustments and the capitalisation of market and counterparty risk.
The ability to articulate your ideas will be crucial as you work closely with business partners to develop models and tools, and perform analyses to help guide business decisions, manage risk, formulate and test quantitative strategies, and drive revenue generation and capital utilisation.
Electronic Trading
Our quants are highly specialised quantitative traders, researchers, and data scientists responsible for developing, deploying and running algorithmic trading models and predictive analytics in markets, leveraging the latest methods in data science, machine learning, AI and applied probability.
They cover all aspects of data analysis, feature engineering, model research, signal research, model calibration and deployment, through to running live models, responding to requests for quotes, trade execution and statistical risk management on the book.
Quant Developer
Our quants are strong logical thinkers with a mathematical mindset, and an interest in Computer Science. They are problem solvers who can program in one or more of our languages (primarily Java, C++, and Python). Individuals who enjoy the responsibility of writing critical routines in our hottest loops, as well as fault-tolerant processes where calculations cannot fail, will thrive.
You will be immersed in real world problems with immediate impact. Working with quants and technologists from different teams, you will build on your computer science expertise to help move abstract mathematical ideas into trading reality.
