Within this role, you’ll work across the costings of several leading Mass, Celebrity and Premium titles, making sure invoices are paid accurately and on time. You’ll also assist with entry level picture research support to the busy picture team and will work closely to support the Managing Editor across various costings and administrative tasks.

You’ll have a hybrid work set up, meaning 2 days of the week you’ll join us in our London office, and then rest working from home!

About the team

We’re a busy team of six Picture Researchers and Editors, working across a portfolio of print magazines and online platforms, helping to shape the visual identity of some of Britain’s best loved celebrity, mass and premium titles.

Key responsibilities

  • Keeping on top of the costings across a variety of titles, including heat, Closer, Yours, Bella, Grazia and ensuring our payments are kept up to date
  • Raising POs for suppliers in a thorough and timely manner
  • Setting up new suppliers, both from the UK and overseas
  • Processing invoices
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with picture agencies and content suppliers
  • Picture research across the London portfolio when necessary
  • Admin and costings support to the Managing Editor

What you’ll bring

  • Thorough admin skills
  • Excellent time management - the ability to work quickly and prioritise different tasks and requests from the whole editorial team – confidence and diplomacy is required
  • A keen eye for detail and organisation, professional and flexible with a can-do attitude
  • The ability to assist in the clear, focused vision for the pictures in the magazines and across digital
  • To be able to communicate clearly to the picture team and to picture agencies
  • To be a great team player with a keenness to support the whole picture content team and the rest of the office where and when it’s needed
  • Creativity and a passion for all things celebrity and entertainment is suggested
