    The Motorcycling Content Hub serves our modern biking titles with top-notch road test, news, product news and used bike reviews. This role would be responsible for creating compelling news content that could work in our print and digital title, in whatever format best suits the subject matter.

    The focus of the role

    Bauer Media’s Motorcycling Content Hub serves iconic brands such as MCN, Bike, Ride. The Writer would work closely with the News Editor to create timely and interesting bike-based news stories. We pride ourselves on getting exclusive news stories before anyone else and using our reach and authority to get information sooner than anyone else. The Writer would be expected to come up with ideas that will enrich our readers’ and users’ lives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Idea creation, development and delivery across news sections for MCN, motorcyclenews.com, Ride, Bike and PSB magazines; as well as our social media channels.
    • Supporting and deputising for the News Editor to ensure idea creation, planning and content delivery continues seamlessly in their absence.
    • Contribute to motorcyclenews.com, primarily in the area of news, although a broad approach would at times be required. Some video presenting may also be required at times (full training will be given).
    • There will also be the opportunity to spread your wings into more feature-y elements for our titles, should the need arise.
