    The role

    This is a 2-year graduatescheme made up of four 6-month placements across Market Access (Government Affairs & Public Policy), a Business Specific Placement (this will depend upon business needs), Marketing, and Sales (working directly with customers in the market). Placements will not necessarily fall in this order and gives an indication of the types of duties and responsibilities that this role would involve. Over the course of thetwo-year programme,you will experience a range of commercial roles and responsibilities to help you build a foundation of skills and knowledge to start your career. All rotations will be fully supported by managers, a Graduate coach and a designated mentor as well as relevant training and initiatives for personal development and growth.

    Placements could include the following:

    • Market Access (GovernmentAffairs & Public Policy): This rotation provides the opportunity to understand the healthcare market and how Baxter engages with external stakeholders
    • Marketing: This rotation provides hands on experience of a marketing role.Supporting the Marketing team workingwithinternal and external stakeholders. Co-ordinatevarious aspects ofproducingpromotional items andmaterialsfrom conception through to delivery including design and copy approval, regulatoryrequirements, quotes and invoicing and education and dispersal of the materials to the sales team. 
    • Sales : This rotation will enable in market experience with customers, upskilling and sales training support, responsible for managing a portfolio of Baxter Products within a given business area - accountable for building relationships with customers, deliver on and contribute to team sales and profit targets, providing a high level of support and service to NHS and Private Healthcare customers. 
    • Business Specific: This rotation will provide an opportunity to haveresponsibilities for value added deliverables with one area of Baxter. Providing specific support to a business unit to help themdeliver on key projects, and responsible for delivering on assignedproject(s). 

    Job requirements

    • Educated to a degreelevel standard having graduated within the last twoyears
    • Be open to further study as Year 1 there is a requirement to successfully undertake the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry(ABPI) qualification. Also,to participatein personnel skills training, mentoring, fieldvisits, developmentactivity as part of Baxter'sinvestment in youduringyourgraduate programme
    • Ideally candidates willhave workexperience of at least one year (including placement year}
    • Flexible, adaptable, and mature approach
    • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work on projects
    • High attention to detail
    • Good analytical skills
    • Comfortable working in a team as well as independently
    • Strong/fluent oral and written English skills
    • Experience of MS Office products - ability to editPDFs/video files an advantage
    • Enthusiasm for learning new skills
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and motivation skills
    • Determination and enthusiasm
    • Driving License: Full driving license at start of employment
