What does the role involve?
Working closely with brand managers and senior brand leads, this role will largely be focussed on delivering marketing projects within the pharmaceutical marketing team. Day-to-day tasks might include:
- Project management of strategic marketing initiatives, managing timelines, completing milestones and working with key stakeholders across the business
- Using business insights to track markets and trends to design strategies which help develop effective marketing campaigns
- Working with agencies to develop products and campaign content, whilst being conscious of the regulations within the pharmaceutical industry
- Supporting the medical education, helping to engage with healthcare professionals by providing insight on new Bayer products through running educational events
- Liaising with multiple areas of the business to provide and use insights to better promote Bayer products and solutions
Who are we looking for?
Ultimately, we are looking for authentic personalities, who are able to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate across the company to solve business problems. For this role specifically, we are looking for someone who is:
- A Graduate of a bachelor’s (or higher) degree in any field (2:1 or above)
- Life science or business-related degrees are preferred
- Master’s degrees (or above) are preferred
- Proactive, with broader experience from undertaking voluntary work, leadership positions in university societies or longer-term employment being advantageous
- Driven, keen to take on more responsibility within the company and grow within the role
- Emotionally intelligent, able to understand the sentiment behind different communications and relay this to different stakeholders
- Inquisitive and eager to learn more about the nuances of pharmacology and learn new skills and processes to grow within the role
- A team player, who works well with colleagues and different departments across the business
- Resilient and committed, keen to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment in pursuit of a meaningful outcome
- Organised, able to follow a structured project plan and stick to task
- Confident and engaging, happy to speak and work with senior stakeholders inside and outside of the business
