    Rotation 1 – Healthcare Government Affairs & Advocacy (9 Months)

    Supporting delivery of the Healthcare Government Affairs programmes for specific therapy areas and external engagement strategy for cross-cutting NHS, life sciences and medicines policy themes.

    Key responsibilities will include

    • Lead, develop and deliver specific GA campaigns aligned to a specific brand or therapy area, including management of external agencies and vendors
    • Provide external environmental monitoring and curation of timely internal briefings, presentations and reports on policy topics and trends relevant to the UK pharma business and commercial teams
    • Support external engagement and stakeholder management for GA team and across Patient Access function

    Rotation 2 – Healthcare Partnerships & Digital (9 Months)

    Supporting the Head of Digital Transformation with relevant digital access strategies and customer engagement, conference planning and internal understanding. This role would also include development of materials to support customer engagement above brand, linking into the partnership agenda.

    Key responsibilities will include

    • Drive better understanding of the NHS digital agenda and opportunities across ICSs
    • Support an aligned strategy for engaging effectively with payers across the brand teams, including input into insight generation, content creation, strategy support
    • Conference planning and co-ordination

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences, Public Policy, Political Sciences, or a related field
    • Strong interest in current affairs, life sciences, healthcare policy and/or digital health
    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Good knowledge of and interest in current affairs
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Good organisational skills
    • Comfortable handling complexity and managing ambiguity
    • Ability to work collaboratively
    • The successful candidate must by the start of their employment have permanent right to work in the UK
