The Business Services and Outsourcing (BSO) team are essential to meeting our clients' changing needs. As well as delivering long-term, sustainable value to businesses by providing solutions such as accounting, payroll and compliance services, they also play a key role in helping our teams around the world collaborate. The team helps international clients manage their accounting needs by drawing on BDO’s expertise and investing in processes, systems and people to solve a huge range of challenges. The graduate programme offers the opportunity to develop in one of the industry’s most exciting and varied roles. If you can show initiative and the potential for exceptional problem-solving skills, you’ll gain a unique insight into how business works across the world.

We’ll help you succeed

The three-year BSO Graduate Programme is your opportunity to learn our sector inside out, get real experience on real projects and achieve a globally recognised professional qualification. We’ll cover your exam fees and give you the study leave and extra training you’ll need to pass them while you balance your own workload. That training isn’t just about passing the exams, you’ll learn a range of personal, management and client-related skills that will help you become a full rounded BDO advisor and achieve your full potential. As part of that, you’ll:

• Study towards your Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) professional qualification
• Where appropriate, an apprenticeship coach from your training provider
• Be assigned a BDO Buddy to personally mentor you
• Have access to specialist support for your professional exams
• Be given real professional responsibility that will help you grow
• Enjoy a supportive culture where colleagues are invested in your career

• A 2:2 degree in any discipline (obtained or predicted)
• Three A-levels or equivalent at A*-C excluding General Studies and Extended Projects (obtained or predicted)
• 9-4 in Maths and English at GCSE/Scottish Standards or equivalent (non-UK qualifications also considered)
• Ability and commitment to balance study and professional work
• Strong desire to understand our business and achieve your full potential
