Bridon-Bekaert The Ropes Group has an exciting oppotunity for a Graduate/Junior Quality engineer to join our Quality Team.
About the role
The purpose of the role is to apply appropriate Quality tools and techniques in order to deploy and improve BBRG’s Quality policies and procedures that ensures compliance to internal and external standards. The role holder will support the global quality team and global manufacturing quality teams.
The main accountabilities are but not limited to:
- To maintain and improve the quality management system, in accordance with International Standards such as ISO9001.
- Monitor and support the customer complaints process and follow up on effectiveness of corrective action plans.
- Working closely with sales, applications team, and technical team to provide professional feedback to customers regarding complaints and concerns e.g., 8D, A3, root cause analysis tools.
- Preparation of reports as necessary to fulfill the needs of internal and external customers.
- Collation and analysis of quality performance data and making recommendations for improvement.
- Support continual improvement and where necessary facilitate other functions in problem solving and improvement activities.
- Support Supplier Quality in the approval and on-going qualification of critical suppliers.
- To undertake internal audits in accordance with BBRG policies and procedures, complete audit reports, issue non conformances and verify corrective actions.
- Support quality-related improvement initiatives (Quality ABC).
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures (including health, safety, environmental and quality) are personally adhered to, taking a ‘no walk past’ approach.
What you'll ned
The successful candidate will have:
- Some knowledge of QA fundamentals.
- Some knowledge of QMS requirements e.g. ISO 9001.
- Able to prepare user friendly company procedures and documentation (technical authoring).
- Able to prepare professional reports suitable for internal and external consumption.
- Attention to detail, accuracy; analytical skills; time management; problem solving skills; can-do attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including customers and auditors.
- Demonstrate a high level of motivation and commitment.
