    About design

    Design at Bentley means working on a live project, making a difference to the actual product from day one. Ours is an intimate collaborative studio environment, and the creative culture it engenders radiates throughout the business. The Design team is responsible for creating everything from the initial concept to the final design, including exterior and interior design, UX and colour, materials and finish. We’re privileged to see our work realised through the highest craftsmanship and finest materials.

    Colour, materials and finishes design

    The Colour, Materials and Finishes (CMF) design team creates design solutions for Bentley for new products. We develop and present formal and functional solutions that integrate innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship in future Bentley product proposals achieving a high visual quality fulfilling the requirements. Working with and being mentored by expert industry colleagues, you’ll get real insight into how we research and develop future materiality, in an ever-growing important area of automotive design. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Collaborate with the team to develop end to end Design proposals from research, supplier engagement, samples, 2D exploration, 3D physical prototypes and animated digital models aligned to a design brief
    • Contribute ideas from the rich history and future heritage of Bentley products, as well as ideas for materials beyond the car
    • Present Design proposals to support project delivery

    About you

    The successful candidate will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Design, Interior Design, Product Design and Boat/ Yacht Design, with a bias towards the Colour, Materials and Finish speciality. It would be advantageous to have Photoshop or VRED experience. The successful candidate will:
