    About mulliner

    With roots that can be traced back to before the birth of the motor car, Mulliner operates today as Bentley’s personal commissioning division. From special features and finishes to entirely new Coachbuilt vehicles, the Mulliner name continues to represent the ultimate in Bentley luxury. Bentley Mulliner operates as a Division within Bentley and has three distinct product offerings Coachbuilt, Classic and Collections. As a Graduate you will join a team of specialists bringing these products to life, giving you real-life tangible experience in the luxury automotive sector to elevate your career journey.

    There are three graduate programmes available:

    1) operations

    The Operations team are responsible for the logistics and manufacturing aspects of the delivery of our unique vehicles. As a Graduate, you will be directly involved in all stages of the supply chain from BoM definition, supplier liaison, through to finished vehicle. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Attending build meetings and project reviews to report to senior management
    • Contributing towards ongoing continual improvement activities
    • Negotiating with suppliers and managing material trackers for a range of vehicles, including the raising of purchase orders

    2) commercial

    As a Graduate, you will become a member of the small group of commercial specialists that are responsible for the Sales, Customer interfaces and Financial Control of the three core business pillars; Coachbuilt, Classic and Collections. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Analysing data of numerous elements including sales trends, profit and expenditure
    • Assisting management with data to make informed decisions based upon robust analysis
    • Preparing and presenting reports to senior management, whilst supporting with ongoing continual improvement activities

    3) technical

    Mulliner Engineering is positioned to spearhead new technologies and materials to apply to low volume and bespoke vehicle applications. This role will give you a clear insight into the fundamental relationships between technical areas of the vehicle, low volume manufacturing techniques and how to operate with high value materials. As a Graduate, you will understand the whole development process from concept to design, test, release and homologation. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Supporting the Engineering team on key Coachbuilt programme
    • Gaining an understanding of technical responsibilities and development processes in all mainstream engineering functions to contribute towards continuous improvement projects
    • Delivering technical feasibility for an innovation topic

    About you

    The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Mathematics, Logistics, Business, Finance, Project Management, Economics or Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical and Materials Engineering. It would be advantageous to have practical engineering, financial management or data analysis experience and strong commercial acumen. The successful candidate will:
