    About sales & marketing

    Our challenge is to create customer journeys that are extraordinary at every step, from first contact with our business to every journey in their Bentley. Sales and Marketing makes certain that the Bentley Brand and our values are delivered consistently through our communications, events, retailers, products and services. We offer a bespoke, personalised experience for all customers and as a department we work together to ensure their experience is befitting of this unique brand. We also work closely to support our retailers, who are our ambassadors around the world.

    There are two industrial placements available

    1) Bentley Retailer Academy

    Bentley’s Retailer Academy offers world class, award winning learning to our global Retailer network to enable our partners to be the best they can be. The Retailer Academy has to continuously evolve its offer with new product launches, embracing electrification, digitalisation and innovating to ensure that all staff deliver an extraordinary customer journey. Whilst aligning with Bentleys Beyond 100 strategy, we are responsible for the individual development of over 3000 individuals, across 69 countries, to progress our Global Retailer Network. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Develop, own and deliver a communication plan which ensures Retailers are informed of new content and revised assets.
    • Supporting the team and the regional training managers in driving and increasing engagement for all training assets.
    • Contributing to continuous improvement projects across the function seeing them through to completion.

    2) Business management

    The Business Management team supports the company Beyond100 vision to create extraordinary customer journeys through our global network. Working in the team will provide you with broad commercial experience across 3 principle areas including: the launch of a new global retail environment, the types of contractual arrangements that we have and how we monitor the profitability and performance of our network. Supporting the piloting and deployment of our new retail environment will be the primary focus of your placement. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Assisting with the creation of CI/CD policies and guidelines to support the roll-out of the new retail environment to our global retailer network.
    • Creating and presenting the 2024 Retailer satisfaction survey results and prepare the 2025 survey.
    • Supporting our Retailer CI & Standards Manager to deliver our new retail environment strategic project.

    About you

    The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Business Management, Sales & Marketing, Psychology or Computer Science. It would be advantageous to have prior work experience within Project Management, a commercial mindset and knowledge of Microsoft packages. The successful candidate will:
