Key responsibilities
The content writer will
- Create and write a wide range of content assets - including thought leadership articles, blog posts, and reports
- Proofread content, for clients, your own work, and for other members of the team
- Research content topics and campaign ideas - on your own and with the team
- Work on broader marketing assets, including social, email, web, and video assets
- Achieve Berkeley’s Storytelling accreditation. Consistently ensure that Berkeley’s storytelling philosophy is included in the written work created for clients and media.
Key responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, experienced writer, and ideally possess the following attributes:
- Able to write great copy. We need you to hit the ground running on important client projects and pick up new content work with ease
- Attention to detail and strong proofing and grammar skills
- Agility, being able to move between multiple projects and ways of writing
- To work to deadlines and have excellent time management skills
- A proactive ‘can-do’ attitude, gets things done to the highest standard
- The ability to generate ideas and campaigns that will help us, and our clients stand out
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A degree in English, journalism, PR or marketing
- Proficiency in SEO, social media and content marketing
