    A Junior Business Systems Applications Engineer to provide technical support for our varied portfolio of applications, whilst playing an integral part in our adoption of cloud technologies.

    Business Systems Solutions is an exciting new function set up to support the continual growth of the wider business. The team utilise various technologies to implement 3rd party products and services across on premise, SaaS and cloud solutions, supporting processes within the Business and driving effectiveness, efficiency, scalability and sustainability.

    You will play a key role in supporting these tools and their users, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting through to resolution. You will be integral to adopting a plethora of new technologies, systems and solutions, which is key to success of the Company’s growth.

    You will have the drive and determination to provide first class support for these new technologies, systems and solutions whilst able to show experience working collaboratively with business users, internal teams and external vendors from previous roles ideally working in a Service Desk environment.

    This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Acting as the first point of contact for our internal teams with Business Systems related issues, assisting with the support, maintenance and deployment of these systems.
    • Supporting a given toolset recommending features and functions to the internal team and business.
    • Taking responsibility for a subset of tools and applications including on premise, SaaS and cloud based solutions.
    • Managing, investigating and solving individual cases to ensure satisfactory outcomes for our customers.
    • Taking responsibility for daily checks of key applications and systems.
    • Liaising with other departments to ensure timely resolution of cases and ensuring that our customers and stakeholders are kept informed of progress.
    • Being involved in the testing and deployment of software or application patches and upgrades to ensure compliance, security and support levels are maintained Ensuring availability of our systems through monitoring and reporting for both on premise and cloud hosted solutions.

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Interest in SaaS solutions and cloud based technologies.
    • Excellent problem solving skills in order to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations.
    • Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Experience of supporting and upgrading business related systems and applications whilst having an understanding of their architecture.
    • Ability to manage conflicting priorities, work independently, multitask and meet tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong stakeholder management with people from different disciplines.
    • Self-motivation with ability to use initiative and prioritise proactively.
