A Junior UIUX Analyst who will concisely document design specifications and visually test future and current enhancements made to our products.
The day to day role is varied and presents numerous challenges due to the fast paced nature of the business and ever evolving requirements. We look for people with a passion for the principles of design including layout, typography, imagery and brand consistency.
You will work in an open and inclusive atmosphere with a close knit team of talented Design Implementation Analysts, Designers and Front End Developers who all want to produce and deliver the best design solutions.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred skills and experience
- Ability to work with different delivery methodologies.
- Commercial design experience.
- Excellent eye for detail.
- Knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch.
- Experience using standard compliant HTML/CSS.
- Strong portfolio of relevant work.
Main Responsibilities
- Performing detailed analysis of designs ensuring business requirements are captured.
- Creating detailed annotations which incorporate design rules, consistency, fonts, imagery and colours.
- Documenting rules relating to user interface and experience clearly and concisely.
- Creating HTML/CSS snippets to articulate requirements.
- Creating optimised and production ready website assets in Adobe Photoshop/Sketch or CSS/HTML.
- Conducting design QAs of Developer’s work, ensuring user interface and experience is as expected.
- Logging design issues in JIRA and following these issues until resolved.
- Supporting Front End Developers with visual requirements within the development process.
- Attending daily stand ups and design walkthroughs, presenting visual specifications to other teams within the business.
- Conducting cross device and browser UI and UX testing.
