    An App Developer who will design, develop and implement cutting-edge applications that drive innovation and enhance the user experience. Platform Innovation is a newly formed technology department at the forefront of innovation and research, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technological advancements.

    We are creating a dynamic and diverse team that drives our mission of creating ground-breaking advances in our field. We are building a team of talented professionals, ready to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that push the boundaries of technology.

    You will possess technical expertise, creative problem solving skills and a passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

    Main responsibilities

    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, user requirements and design app solutions that meet the objectives of the Innovation Department.
    • Developing, testing and maintaining high-quality apps, ensuring they are scalable, efficient and reliable.
    • Utilising programming languages, frameworks and tools to create innovative and user-friendly solutions.
    • Staying abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices, and proposing innovative ideas for app development.
    • Working closely with our internal UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and enhancing user experience.
    • Collaborating with product managers to define and refine application features and functionality.

    Preferred skills and experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, however, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Demonstrable commercial experience as an App Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
    • Proficient in programming languages such as Kotlin and Swift.
    • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of mobile application development frameworks such as iOS and Android.
    • Exposure to machine learning, artificial intelligence or data analytics would be highly beneficial.
